Hilda Stansel Deese November 3, 1937 - January 29, 2013. Hilda Deese and her brother Alton were children of Jessie Thomas Stansel and Nan Hiers Stansel. She attended Wellborn school and she graduated from Suwannee High in 1955 and then went to business school in Jacksonville. She married Charles Deese and God granted them 44 years and a daughter Amy. Hilda enjoyed life and could make fun happen where ever she was. She loved children, especially preschoolers, and taught in Methodist Preschool in Lake City before she retired.. She had survived a broken hip and was home recovering, when she suffered a stroke. The emergency landed her in North Florida Regional Medical Center where she died. Her funeral service was in Mr Beulah Baptist, her home church and she was buried in McClellen Cemetery, Wellborn.
