There were three young adults from Wellborn seated as judges at Saturday Morning testing at Taekwando studio (ATA) in Lake City: Joy Geiger, Alice Geiger and Lawrence Whitmore.
All three have worked hard earning ever higher rankings, traveling to out of town meets and bringing home awards, trophies and personal satisfaction. Now they are part of the volunteer staff at Sepvulda's ATA. Alice says "Through Taekwondo participation I learned about the real joy of learning." "A black belt is just a white belt who did not quit." is a motto on that same bulletin board.
It was a Big Day for Alice. She won her Black Belt, second degree. Daddy Maurice G. might have a video of the testing.
