Here is a glimpse of #1 lesson ( a freebee, soon to be $4) for Round Dancing. This is the newest thing to do in my hometown. In this picture ten couples formed a circle around caller Ralph Beekman who borrows a lady here to demonstrate a step.
Seen at the WCA Community Building this first Monday night class (6:30 to 9) were Bonnie and George Scott, Bobbi Fenderson and blogger Jinny, who had such a good time enjoying the rhythm and learning the choreography to the tune that the good intention of taking lots of pictures was lost in the fun of dancing.
Mild exercise to music, friendly folk to enjoy it with in a pleasant place in Wellborn...it adds up to a choice of entertainment much better than couch potatoe-ing in front of the TV
