MANY VOTERS CAME , just like Jane Campbell hoped they would, to the Wellborn Neighborhood Watch CANDIDATES NIGHT,meeting in the Blake Lowe Building next to Wellborn Community Park on July 29. 2010.
It was very good.
The fun part was when Commissioner U. agreed with Mr. Beasely who observed that the airconditioning seemed inadequate.
"Do you want central air in this county owned building?" he asked.
"Yes!"
"Consider it done", said Mr Udell.
Wellborn will wait expectantly. :-)
Russell Smith M.C.'d. Jane and Bruce Campbell made it happen with invitations to all local candidates. They did advertising and solicited refreshments. Wellborn is grateful for a job well done!
