Wellborn My Hometown was represented at a Black Belt Taekwondo event in Dallas Texas by Alice Geiger. The Geigers knew that your blooger's son is a Texan and invited me to ride along keeping Alice company and enabling a visit with son and his wife..
It was a delightful eye opener weekend of watching Alice amongst thousands of other Taekwondo enthusiasts. She did us proud.
We returned home after 2000 safe miles traveled gratefully. Added to the "There is no place like home" euphoria was a wonderful bit of family history from london U.K.: a birth announcement of a 5th great grandbaby! She arrived Sunday January 17,2010.
It came in an e-maiil including same day fotos of Daddy Steve & Mom Jess, 2 year old sister Lark and newborn Kate!
DON'T LOSE YOUR SENSE OF AWE. It's a great life!
