My good neighbor Dale Barrett is a transplant from Kentucky. Today is a basketball contest between Kentucky and Florida. His daughter Francheska is a Gator fan. Its a Father-Daughter adventure to wear school's colors and enjoy the rivalry in Gainesville this day together. Dale's birthday is imminent, January 26th, and this is a milestone one deserving much celebration. The basketball fun allows him to start early on that.
When volunteers were sought to help with the cleanup after Hank Whisnant's burnout whereby Hank lost home and business, a total disaster caused by juvenile arson, Dale Barrett volunteered with his big tractor and front end loader to accomplish the final removal of piles of burned debris.
