Blog reporting on Wellborn action suffered a hiatus this month.
We have a comparative study of doctors offices to offer instead. :-)
Lake City Surgeon Jerzy Polmerski wins the Wilson Award for Best Ambiance. The waiting room decor is restful and tasteful. The receptionist is efficient, gentle and sensitive to the inner turmoil one feels at the prospect of any surgical proceduare, no matter how "routine".
Surgeon Dr. Jerzy Polmerski, himself, has time to explain what to expect .
Our simple procedure was removal of a port that was giving trouble because "Chemo is no longer an option for this metastisized prostate cancer," said Dr. Khan.
By Wednesday husband Jack will have completed his third go round of daily radiation with Dr Schilling. You get a gift coffee cup nad an "atta-boy" from the staff. A year ago focused radiation was the means by which we were granted another year of quality life, so we dare hope that can happen again for us. This four weeks of daily office visits at Community Cancer Center on US 90, L.C., gave opportunity to witness some very brave people fighting back just like us. Goldie Marie Fralick calls us Cancer Crusaders and prayers are said for a list nearing fifty now @ 6 :45 AM Tuesday mornings at the Wellborn Methodist altar. (We welcome fellow prayer warriors.) Dr. Schilling's office gets the Wilson award for Patient Camaraderie ! The morale boost by the young technicians and secretarial people is commendable at Community Cancer Center also. :-)
