Fay blew thru our hometown since we last visited together on the blog.  Our gage holds five inches and it overflowed.   FP&L flickered a bit but nothing serious enough to dig out candles. Suwannee Valley Electric customer friends were without electricity long enough to run their generator. These particular friends don't run their generator at night out of thoughtfulness for sleeping neighbors, but they were put to the test when one of the neighbors opted to run theirs.

One of Dale Barrett's 2 new calfs is  named Stormy !

The Wilson's new yard man is wheelchair bound and his brother comes with him to facilitate by getting the mower off the trailer and placed where a transfer from truck driver seat to mower seat is made. He is earning again after a motorcycle accident changed his life.  He does drive his mower with a flare, faster than husband Jack ever would. :-)
Well,  imagine what a pleasant surprise it was the morning after Fay strewn our yard with sticks and mosses, leaves  and limbs galore to look out and see the brothers truck . Unsolicited they had come to pick up the mess in the yard for us senior citizens.   It was humbling and heart warming and we wanted to share the story.
