My friend Dollie describes herself as a nosey old busybody. She says it with a smile.
I would describe Dollie as a good lady who is all heart. Her ministry and calling is toward the needs of those whose body strengths are failing. She offers her own caring heart, phone visits, and a willingness to transport friends in need for groceries and doctors and sometimes a "just for fun" ride.
Dollie phoned yesterday. She was wearing her reporters hat. She helps keep track of the pulse of our hometown so that we can share and appreciate Wellborn life whenever opportunity presents itself.
Dollie is sorrowing this week because her neighbor , Bill Brown, died and she and the other neighbors will miss him.
Dollie's car is also in its own "failing strengths" chapters of its life and Bill was chief consultant about how Dollie could keep her car running. May our God comfort those who mourn.

James "Elbert" Copeland died this week and Wellborn's old families gather at his funeral at Fellowship Baptist.
Rev Tommy Cannon and Brother Dwight Law speak the Biblical words of promise and comfort and reminisce with family and friends. I just love to see the appreciation of each other and their gift from God of a lifetime of sharing Wellborn ways that happens when the deceased has lived here all his life.
