Dale and Tammy Barrett hosted twelve lucky ladies June 21, 2008. They were new friends Dale's momma, Daisy Barrett has found at Surrey Place Healthcare; Rozell Mercer, Virginia Perry, Vera Wilkinson and Bea McKeithen are the ones in the wheelchairs whose pictures made the cut. 14 photos are too many to post. Chaplain Lester Curry is pretty good at getting fishhooks out of mullet. Chris Tyre is even better altho he almost fell in the pond trying to retrieve the one that broke the line and swam away. Ms. Ellie is in charge of activities at Surrey Place and when Rozell pulled in her third catch Ms. Ellie said with a smile "When one of us wins too many times in a row at Bingo, the other players suggest she just sit a few cards out." Dales friend Pasco was all around the party group baiting hooks (chicken liver) for the ladies and smiling at the camera when asked to do that. Like true fishermen everyone wanted to stay a little longer, even past their lunch at Surrey Place. Dale suggested maybe they better save some fishing fun for the men who have been invited for next Wednesday.
