Three local scenes were made into notepaper for me and now blogged for you to see and enjoy too. Jane Campbell artistry is now shared with you here

Bobbie and Don Olive's friendship merited us a gift of locally caught fish, frozen for our future enjoyment. That is a gift not so shareable on a blog but you could be rewarded for reading the blog with an invitation to a fish fry evening of fun. Its a country thing to do.

Wellborn's springtime loveliness is appreciated by many bicycle enthusiasts. They convene in nearby White Springs. Some choose the Wellborn's picturesque country roads route for their peddling on a Saturday. We see Sag Wagon stations where they find a rest stop with healthy snacks and the camaraderie of a shared hobby in the out of doors. Tis enjoyable for our bicycling guests and for us hometowners too.

The pecan trees are finally showing baby green leaves. Old timers say it is safe to plant now. Acreage along C-10 jumped the gun with a million baby tomatoe plants in long long white plastic rows, all irrigated for wholesale production.

Backyard gardeners are invited to bring their lovely fresh vegies to the WHISTLE STOP FARMERS MARKET the last Friday of each month. This "something new" is very welcome here.
