GOOD NEWS tonight was a phonecall from Jack Gaylord who is back home in his Wellborn house. Thanks Be to God. Shands Hospital, Live Oak was where the ambulance carried him when he ran out of bluff power and couldnt breathe even enuff for Linda to drive him to the VA. They 911'd it and waited in the wheelchair gasping. The ambulance gave him no option. Desperate Jack was unable to make demands.
A week later Jack Gaylord can only give credit where credit is due. His breathing is restored and he thanks God. He and the nurses (especially Yvonne Brimm) had a good time getting him AOK again. So tomorrow he picks up where he left off as an outpatient at L.C. V.A.
Jack's dog "Little Man" is the gladdest of us all.
Cathy Allred's mystery illness had her ambulanced to Shands Gainesville for a week stay and Jack Allred called in two of her daughters( delightful young women) . Cathy's illness felt life threatening and may still be so. Specific diagnosis is illusive still but she is home for bedrest plus R&R aided by presciptions. Your prayers are needed and appreciated.
