Pastor Jim Messer 2/5/43 - 3/4/13
Saturday, MARCH 23, 2013 the Wellborn/Huntsville Methodist church family and friends honored a good and humble man of God, Rev. Jim Messer, our former Pastor for almost 8 years here. Jim died March 4, 2013 in his own home, of cancer metastisis. Eulogy words were spoken by Rev James Richardson, Pastor Matt Dillard, and Rev Carl Wiggins. Maurice Geiger sang the 23rd psalm and Joe Royster sang "It Is Well With My Soul." Current Pastor, Rev Dr Everett Parker, welcomed way over 100 people and lead us in a worshipful celebration of a life well lived. May our Lord comfort us all as we experience bitter sweetness of Christian bereavement one more tome.
