A New House for Emergency Vehicles
Between the Midway Barbershop and the sadly empty Convenience Store on the West side of CR137 the framework of a building to house a Fire Truck and an Ambulance appeared today! People in my hometown thank the Wellborn Community Association under the leadership of Wendell Snowden for this giant improvement here. It will be fun to post the pictures and rejoice each step of the way.

SUNDAY MORNING IN DOWNTOWN WELLBORN
JUNIORS RESTAURANT at the blinker light is a popular place Sunday after church. Overflow parking is used under the huge Live Oak tree by the Masonic Lodge and also across 137 as well in the back and side yards of the restaurant!

W.C.A. Blueberry Pancakes Day
The first Wellborn Community Association Blueberry Pancake Breakfast of 2013 happened on Saturday January 5th. Two pretty young girls, Vicry and Subia, helped Buck and Jan Pierce and Chris Williams served up the delicious breakfast on a cold overcast winter morning.
Barbara Fletcher was the meeter, greeter and ticket issuer. Ron Chappel provided music on his keyboard. Christmas decorations were put away so here is to 2013 and all that God has in store for me and my friends and neighbors in my hometown.
