wellborn my hometown

Jinny, your blogger, met Pasco Jarvis, Wellborn's pretend Mayor, at the Wellborn Post Office one day recently. He's a widower who teases sometimes and so when he said "Come meet my wife" I was not sure if this was for real. I did go to the car and met her tho' and she IS his wife and has been for almost two months! Thus the title of this news release, "A BELATED SCOOP" Her name is Lisa Jarvis. She is Pasco's approximate age; prettier than he ever was but just as friendly and personable. Together they tell about knowing one another for 66 years; went to the same school and she admits to having a crush on him as a teenager. Pasco was unaware. They even knew each other's spouses. Each felt sympathy and understanding when the loneliness of widow/widower happened. God ended aloneness for both Pasco and Lisa when they married in Christ on October 19, 2012. Now they look like very happy newlyweds and they have OK'd it to WHISPER the joy around my hometown!

Two new volunteers helped wait tables while four regulars worked the kitchen at Decembers Merry Christmas Blueberry Pancake Breakfast

Pretty Paige Brooks sat at the ticket/Welcome table at the WCA Blueberry Pancake Breakfast on December's first Saturday. Her good news to share is that her Navy husband's ship is in port and she will join him in Virginia where he has found them an apartment, their first!
