Ground Breaking Day for Fire Rescue station #5

THE OCCASION: Dignitaries gathered in downtown Wellborn on Monday October 22, 2012 for the GROUND BREAKING ceremony for the Wellborn's Fire Rescue Station #5.
An estimated 50 people joined in thankfulness to those who pushed hard to bring about this very good milestone in my hometown's growth and development

NEWS FLASH !!!
Monday morning (October 22nd) - 9am - official groundbreaking ceremony for the new Wellborn Station 5 Fire/Rescue. County Commissioners and Fire Personnel will be on hand and the celebration is open to the public. Help spread the word! Parking will be available at the Wellborn Community Association building.

Hazel Ford was the meet-er and greet-er at October's Wellborn Community Association Blueberry Pancake Breakfast. Sister Betty Randall (officially on Kitchen/Dining Room duty) visits with Hazel in between hometown folks and friends who came as customers to enjoy one another and eat well and support all the good works of this organization.
