Raivyn Brooke Summerfield died in an ATV accident on April 22, 2012. She was fourteen years old. Her parents, Tracie and Jason Hessley, sisters Autumn and Kaitlyn Summerfield, grandparents Yvonne and Charles Brimm, great grandparents Louis and Mary Gaylard Berry are her grieving immediate family who live in my hometown. She loved life and lived it joyfully and her family tributed her zestful lifestyle by deciding together to donate her organs so that others may live well. She was a popular eighth grader at Suwannee Middle school. A memorial service was held at Westwood Baptist church in Live Oak where many many friends gathered to comfort each other and thank God that their lives touched Raivyn's.

A little WCA news:
Our Easter Egg Hunt held March 31st was a success! The rain stopped about 1:15 and held off long enough for everyone to find the eggs and enjoy their Easter cupcakes. We are thankful for the rain! [Picture caption: Egg Hunt Winners - Robert and Armonie; and I don't have the name of the adorable little "chocolate face". I'm just not as good as you are, Jinny, in getting those pics and names right. You're the best.]
Blueberry Pancake Breakfast is this Saturday (4/7), 7:30 to 10:00am.
It's time to think BLUEBERRY FESTIVAL!! June 1-2, 2012. This year's festival will start at 2:00pm on Friday instead of early in the morning. We have traded around with our Committee Chairpeople this year, so we are all looking forward to putting on a "fresh face."
Our Parade Theme is "Think Green" -- you know it's not too early to start planning and building those floats. Prizes are awarded for floats, equestrians and antique cars. This year's parade will have two Grand Marshalls in recognition of their work on achieving the new Wellborn Fire/EMS Station: Fire Chief Charlie Conner and District 4 Commissioner Phil Oxendine (if he's in town).
For the Bake-Off, we are EXTREMELY honored to have the "Taste Buddies" from the Lake City Reporter, Genie Norman and Mary Kay Hollingsworth, to be our judges. There will be cash prizes and ribbons in three categories.
The 2012 Raffle will be different as well. It will be for a big ticket item and you will not have to be present to win.

Our love to you, Jinny -- Kathie & Wendell
