Supplementary mashed potatoes were needed at this year's WCA Thanksgivng Diner because so many responded and came to enjoy free food and fellowship. Jim Bezaire (pictured) saved the day and reversed a potential shortage!

THANKSGIVING DINNER 2011 was another good time hosted by the Wellborn Community Association.
Volunteers were thankful and so were all who came!

Wellborn United Methodist Church BOOK and BAKE SALE was a great adventure and may be a first annual event. It resulted in happy workers: Librarian Kathy Lyons, [pictured here with Everett Parker, advertising expert), Carol Van Sise, Cathy Allred, Mary Jane Messer, Krystal Whitmore, AND an estimated fifty happy customers who went home with baqs full of books for which they had donated enough dollars to enable the church to do many good things in my hometown in Jesus name and for His sake.

November 5 Wellborn Community Association Blueberry Pancake Breakfast combined with an Andrews Bargaining Sale attracted many customers. Staff: Bobbi Fenderson, Beanie Brooks, Jan Pearce, Melinda Harding and Paige Pearce with Chris Williams at the ticket desk and Ron Chappel providing atmosphere music on the keyboard
