Here are pix, thanks to Kathie Snowden

Kathie Snowden eye and camera to the rescue:
The WCA Fall Yard Sale went well. Pancake breakfast was well attended. Ron Chappell provided music which everyone really enjoys. George Scott was the cook. Other helpers were Beanie Brooks(Our wonderful Breakfast chairperson) Kathy Wotten and daughter, Abby,Kelsey McBrearity Dee Burt and probably others I didn't see. I (Kathie) helped Cheryl Osgood in the Country Store )with the sale of items donated by WCA. Linda Dye helped in the store and with the breakfast. The Country Store looks great due to Cheryl and Charles Osgood's work and we hope to have it open more than just at Blueberry Festival and Yard Sales for people to see and enjoy. Many country decorator items are for sale in the Country Store.
I hope all the people who came to sell did well. We had pony rides by Triple J Ponies (965-2231) with some of the prettiest p0nies I have ever seen. Bloodmobile was there and I think they did well. WCA thanks all and hopes they were able to make a little money and/or find some treaures for themselves.
Calvin Perry cooked some delicious hot dogs the WCA sold for lunch with chips and soda. We enjoyed that especially since most of us had been up since 5 A.M. Helping Charles were Tim and Chris Williams and daughter Krystal and again probably some I didn't see.
I think at sometime during the day we saw just about all the WCA members. Everyone pitched in and there are too many names to tell them all. Building manager Jack Allred is very appreciated day in and day out. He set up tents and generally made sure everyone had everything they needed. 963-4322 is Jack's phone for information about using the WCA building. Our building is being well utilized this fall from Marines meeting, to GED tutoring, to children's art classes, to family reunions and parties.
Let me remind blog readers that October 31 there will be Halloween Treats and hot dogs at 6 PM
AND WCA is gathering names for shut-ins who can't come to the center for our traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Please give names to any WCA member ASAP.
