WHO ARE WE ?
In 1997 a committee of hometown people put together a history of Wellborn in North Florida's Suwannee County. The book's title was WELLBORN, MY HOMETOWN. The title was suggested by Irene Jernigan McCall whose heart is in Wellborn.
Jinny Wilson is the editor of this new effort at sharing in this community. A BLOG . We will focus on soft news in our area.
Wellborn was husband Jack's and Jinny's choice for our "Happily Ever After" home in 1980. Jack and helpers built a log home 26 years ago on a 30 acre tract purchased from Woodrow Bailey. We live in the woods, south of US90, off of Bailey Rd (29th Rd). We moved from St Petersburg where we enjoyed our own child raising years.
WHAT ARE WE ?
This newsletter hopes to become an added dimension supplementing the monthly newsletter, WELLBORN WHISPER, which has been mailed out to 1200 Postal Customers and a selected list of direct address subscribers. The mailed out newsletter, sponsored by the Wellborn United Methodist Church, has arrived in mailboxes here for almost 20 years. Current WHISPER editor is Bonnie Scott. The expense of mailed WHISPERing is escalating. Blogs are free!

Focus will be our North Florida happenings, especially those in Wellborn.
WHY ARE WE ?
We believe God created all of us human beings, that He walked amongst us in the mystery of incarnation. His Son's death enables Him to forgive our sin against Him and that God means for us to reach out in love one for another and that He has brought us together in this rural hometown for His own good reasons. Let us rejoice here!
